- JUNGWOO was a trainee for 3-4 years.
- He was accepted to SM Entertainment through the 2014 SM Weekly Audition, South Korea in June.

Casting story[]
- JUNGWOO was a smart and goofy student and was a mechanical engineering student who majored in computer applied machinery at Gimpo Jeil Technical High school. He passed the famous SM Weekly Saturday open auditions in dance. JUNGWOO has a background in ballet and hip-hop and even won multiple awards. He joined NCT in 2018 as part of NCT U and became a member of NCT 127’s Regular (Korean Ver.) the same year and became the 10th official member of the Seoul Unit of NCT.
