Kim Jung-woo (Hangul: 김정우) referred to as JUNGWOO (Hangul: 정우) is a South Korean singer and dancer born in Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do on February 19, 1998 and grew up in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. He is the main vocalist and the lead dancer of NCT U, and the lead vocalist and lead dancer of NCT 127.

- February 19, 2018: Made his debut on the sub-unit NCT U with the first full album, NCT 2018 EMPATHY title song, "BOSS".
- March 14, 2018: Made his debut on the project unit, NCT 2018 with the first album, NCT 2018 EMPATHY.
- October 12, 2018: Made his debut on the second sub-unit NCT 127 with the first full album, NCT #127 Regular-Irregular.

- JUNGWOO was a smart and goofy student and was a mechanical engineering student who majored in computer applied machinery at Gimpo Jeil Technical High school. He passed the famous SM Weekly Saturday open auditions in dance. JUNGWOO has a background in ballet and hip-hop and even won multiple awards. He joined NCT in 2018 as part of NCT U and became a member of NCT 127’s Regular (Korean Ver.) the same year and became the 10th official member of the Seoul Unit of NCT.
