NCT DREAM delivers a message for youth with its new album DREAM( )SCAPE.
The new album "DREAM( )SCAPE" is the first album of NCT DREAM's journey out of the reality that has been numb due to dark and difficult situations and to find an ideal dream, expressing various emotions experienced in the process of escape through music and story unique to NCT DREAM. Through this, NCT DREAM wants to sympathize with the worries and pains of young people living in their contemporaries as youth and convey a warm message of comfort, support, and empathy to touch them.
This album consists of a total of six songs, including the title song "Smoothie," and seven members actively participated in the overall production from the planning stage of the album to melt the more relatable narrative of youth and growth. Unlike the colors NCT DREAM has shown so far, attention is being paid to the new music world they will present as it contains a more mature and deeper message.
Since debuting with "Chewing Gum" in 2016, NCT DREAM has received worldwide acclaim for its refreshing music such as "We Young," "My First and Last," "We Go Up," "Hello Future," and "Beatbox," which contain teenage spirit, as well as "GO," a youth song "BOOM," addictive "Hot Sauce," "Buffering Mode," and "ISTJ." Starting with this album, NCT DREAM is expected to show a new music series.
