Training/childhood

• CHENLE was a trainee for 2-3 months, meaning he had the shortest training period.

Casting story

• Already a promising child prodigy in China who even had his own album and concert, and grandson of the Chinese billionaire Zhong Shanshan (founder and chairperson of Nofu Spring, a beverage company and majority owner of Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise). His mother got a call from SM Entertainment and was about to reject the offer but his father knew the company and accepted the offer. His original name was Zhong Chenyue but his classmates call him CHENLE and he became used to it. He only trained for 2-3 months and had to practice their debut song, “Chewing Gum” more than 100 times.
